"Poet's Corner - Volume 1"
I try to find the connection to nature and the soul. I incorporate as much of nature as possible in each poem I write, as I believe that nature mimics our actions. My photos are a reflection of what I look at when I first meet someone. I always try to look deep inside that beautiful heartbeat and soul to see what is really there, knowing that we sometimes hide the best part of ourselves because we fear rejection--but I see your perfection as a flowing Light of Love.

I hope you enjoy my poetry and photos, and perhaps--given a chance--you will take that second look at that beautiful flower and find the jewel hidden inside

Reviews:

"This album is positive from start to finish. The music is upbeat and cheerful while also thought-provoking. There is so much to it that you don’t hear in today’s mainstream. The substance most pop artists today seem to lack can be found here. It is hard to find the kind of raw talent that Nick possesses. He keeps it simple. No effects, just a clean sounding voice. It is refreshing and rare."
Sue Hardee, Raleigh Music

"A better comparison might be Eric Hutchinson, Matt Nathanson or any of the other solid songwriter –sons, though Driver’s songwriting displays a more refined sensibility than either."
Ryan Synder, Yes! Weekly Magazine

"Highlight tracks include, “Logged In”, “Young & Beautiful”, “Without Love Poster”, “Worshipped by the Energy”, “Gardens”, and “Sidelines.” As you can see my list of favorites is over half of the album’s tracks, need I say anything more? Purchase- ‘Warm Is Your Color!’"
C W Ross, CWROSS

"Driver’s voice reminds me of Maroon 5’s lead singer Adam Levine, and is guaranteed to make you melt"
Sue Hardee, Raleighmusic.com

"Warm Is Your Color effectively puts the emphasis on his strengths as a lively vocalist with a knack for simple, yet engaging guitar melodies. "
Ryan Synder, Yes! Weekly

Words for Mother Earth

As I lay upon the earth
and feel her vibration,
I know that she is
a living organism,
seeing the beauty
that she expels from
her inner core,
gives us
all Light.

The beauty in the trees
the grasses
the flowers
the homes that she makes
deep within
her being.

Makes me want to
lay upon her ever
so gently,
ever so
lovingly,
to touch her
and letting
her feel that
I know
she is alive,
and that I see her,
in her infinite glory,
I see her.....

Grand Canyon of Love

As I look upon the elegance
of my beloved earth,
I see the beauty that was created
by years of wear and tear on the
stone..
What beauty has been given to us
by years of unending cycles of
water..
The kind of cycles that allows
us to cleanse, so the deepest
part of us can be exposed to the climate of our minds.
To be exposed to the climate of the Earth.
It is then that I realize that all is what
it needed to be,
to be cleansed,
to be cleared.
of all that kept the exposure
of true inner beauty to
be seen…
